Les Animaux
5.25.2026
This is a random grouping of animal pictures I’ve taken during some of our travels. The polar bear was at the Copenhagen Zoo. The lemur was at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum, and Zoo. The donkey was at the Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire. We saw the turtle in what’s called “turtle cove” on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, and the parakeets were at the Rocklands Bird Sanctuary in Jamacia.

Dali Museum
3.21.2026
Collection of photos I took when we visited the Dali Theatre- Museum in Figures, Spain. I think this is a great representation of the variety of his work and the multitude of ways his brain functioned. If you ever get the chance to go, I’d highly recommend it!

Where Softness Learns Its Shape
3.1.2026
The contrast of textures in these images is what drew me to take the photos. The spiky leaves and soft petals along with the dark and light colors of the foliage in the first, the tender stem against the stonework in the second, and the mounds of flowers and billowy grasses in front of the strong lines of the building in the third. It reminds me that life must contain both the soft and the hard. The soft wouldn’t be so beautiful if the hard didn’t exist.

The Ocean
2.8.2026
Fierce, tranquil, and oh so blue, the ocean is a kaleidoscope of colors and emotions.

Darkness and Light

The Cliffs of Moher are an astounding sight. They are towering in height and go on for miles. Seeing this famous Irish landmark made us year to see similar cliffs in the Normandy region of France, the Cliffs of Étretat, which we did in late Summer 2022. Although smaller in height and length, they were no less impressive. The chalky cliffs, sunshine, and calm waters present a stark contrast to the foggy, choppy waters in Ireland. I’m glad we got to experience them both, and plan to search for similar cliffs as we explore other parts of the world!

Les Diverses Nuances de Rose – Des Fleurs Rose
11.1.2025
I enjoy the various shades of pink in these flowers and in many gardens I’ve seen. To me, the photos show how beautiful a monochromatic color scheme can be without feeling boring. Instead, it lets the textures and color variations of each flower shine.

Quiet Trio

The subtle coloring of these artifacts made me feel like they belong together. They are exuberant, expressive, and iconic at the same time.
